Donald Trump may pick Florida Congressman Byron Donalds as his running mate

Donald Trump is known for doing the unexpected.

And Trump could be on the verge of his most stunning announcement yet.

Donald Trump is about to hit everyone with a curveball with this stunning 2024 decision.

Second term Congressman Byron Donalds’ (R-FL) career trajectory is strapped to a rocket ship.

Donalds, 43, rose to prominence last January as the conservative challenger to Kevin McCarthy for the position of Speaker of the House.

Donalds is a rising star conservative who represents the next generation of “America First” conservatives and who proved his TV chops in a standout performance following Trump’s town hall event on CNN.

When Donalds endorsed Trump over Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, it sent shockwaves through the 2024 campaign.

During the CNN broadcast, Donalds refused to back down and threw haymakers at the leftwing activists that tried to smear Trump.

Donalds demolishing the CNN panel compelled conservative Tennessee Congressman Phil Burchett to float Donalds’ name as a possible running mate for Trump.

“Retweet this if you think my friend @ByronDonalds would make a great choice for Vice President,” Burchett wrote on social media.

For his part, Donalds tried to shrug off any speculation that he could be Trump’s running mate.

“I’m not trying to downtalk it, but at the same time, being a kid from the inner city, to having a career, to being a husband, being a father, now a member of Congress…”

“Whoa.”

“I haven’t given much thought to it. Just focused on my job. I can’t even really process that one,” said Donalds.

For most of the campaign, insiders have assumed Trump would pick a woman for his VP.

RINO and former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley, South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem, and former GOP candidate for Arizona Governor Kari Lake were bandied about as the frontrunners to join Trump on the ticket.

But a source close to Trump told the Daily Beast that “privately, he is not excited about Noem, Haley, or Lake.”

Haley is RINO who opposed banning biological males from using the women’s bathroom and stands with Mitt Romney on handing Ukraine a blank check for the war against Russia.

Noem also showed weakness in initially opposing legislation stopping biological males from competing in women’s sports.

Meanwhile, Lake lost her race for Arizona Governor and looks to be running for Senate.

But Donalds would allow Trump to assume the mantle of generational change by picking a young, black conservative with a made-for-TV life story.

Donalds grew up raised by a single mother in the Crown Heights section of New York.

Rising to the position of a U.S. Congressman, Donalds has become a popular conservative across the GOP – destroying all the left’s stereotypes about black oppression in America.

And that, combined with an appealing biography that would play well on the national stage, is why he could very well be Donald Trump’s running mate in 2024.
