Adam Schiff is in big trouble.

There is no avoiding it.

And what one woman just did to Adam Schiff will have you grinning from ear-to-ear.

Twenty Republicans inexplicably voted to table Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna’s resolution to censure Adam Schiff and fine him $16 million (which represents half the cost of taxpayers for the Mueller witch hunt) for lying to the American people about having evidence that Donald Trump colluded with the Russians during the 2016 presidential election.

Adam Schiff ran to his safe space on CNN to boast about being the latest high-profile Democrat to escape consequences for staging a coup against Donald Trump.

“Well, look, I am flattered they view me as such a threat to them that they view me as effective in holding Donald Trump accountable and this is the way they want to lash out. It is not going to deter me. They can introduce all the resolutions they want, $16 million or $160 million I am not going to stop defending our democracy. For Speaker McCarthy to bring this stuff to the floor is an embarrassment and also an abuse the House resources,” Schiff gloated.

“You had George Santos today saying we have to pass this to restore integrity of the House. This stuff would be laughable if it wasn’t the House of Representatives. But it is clear the lunatics have taken over the asylum and they want to try to distract from Trump’s legal woes and gratify his base,” Schiff continued.

But Schiff spoke way too soon.

The sticking point with some members appeared to be the fine against Schiff which some argued violated the 8th and 27th Amendments to the Constitution.

Luna wrote on social media that she planned to reintroduce her censure resolution with new verbiage as a privileged resolution and there would be a vote on holding Schiff accountable next week.

“20 Republicans voted w/ Dems to stop the ethics investigation, censure, & fine of Adam Schiff. So there is no confusion (as some did not accurately read the bill) I will be filing a privileged motion to censure & send Schiff to ethics for investigation. See you next week Adam,” Luna posted on social media.

If the House votes to censure Schiff, then Schiff will have to stand on the floor of the House while the presiding officer reads the censure resolution out loud.

It will be the first time one of the Russia collusion hoaxers faces repercussions for poisoning American politics with their lies about Donald Trump and the 2016 election.
