Joe Biden is one of the most scandal-plagued presidents in recent memory.

What Americans know is just the tip of the iceberg.

And the Secret Service is hiding one fact about Joe Biden that will blow your mind.

As Black Eye Politics reports:

President Joe Biden is terrified that his Secret Service may be filled with Republicans who voted for former President Donald Trump, a new book on the Biden White House has revealed.

In “The Fight of His Life: Inside Joe Biden’s White House,” author Chris Whipple says that Biden from the earliest days of his presidency didn’t trust the Secret Service which was a marked contrast from when he was vice president just a few years before.

“Surrounded by a new phalanx of strangers, Biden couldn’t help but wonder, ‘Do these people really want me here?” Whipple wrote.

Biden’s paranoia about the Secret Service was so great that he didn’t believe it when a Secret Service agent was bitten by his then-3-year-old German Shepherd, Major.

Major bit a Secret Service agent in the private residence portion of the White House on March 8, 2021 and was sent back to Biden’s private Delaware residence for more training but bit a National Park Service worker just after returning to the White House.

According to the book Biden was skeptical about the details of the first alleged biting incident and Biden “wasn’t buying the details.”

Whipple said that while Biden gave a friend a tour of the White House family quarters, he pointed to the place the biting allegedly occurred and told the friend: “Look, the Secret Service are never up here. It didn’t happen.”

He added that Biden thought “somebody was lying … about the way the incident had gone down.”

Whipple wrote that Biden worried that the “Make America Great Again” movement was “all too close to home — in his Secret Service detail” and that he “wasn’t taking any chances” with his bodyguards.

“Wary of his own Secret Service agents, the president no longer spoke freely in their presence,” he added.

“We respect that there will be no shortage of books written about the administration containing a wide variety of claims. We don’t plan to engage in confirmations or denials when it comes to the specifics of those claims,” a White House spokesperson said when The Independent contacted the White House for comment.

While it’s easy to attribute the change in Biden’s perception of the Secret Service to the changing political environment it also noteworthy that paranoia can be a symptom of dementia.

“Delusions (or strongly held false beliefs) are a common symptom for a person with dementia,” the Alzheimer’s Society states. “They can take the form of paranoia, which makes the person feel threatened, even if there is no or little reason to feel this way. Dementia can make a person suspicious of the people around them.”
