George Soros made one of his top political projects installing District Attorneys in cities and counties that would impose Soros’ soft on crime agenda.
Controversial District Attorneys like George Gascon, Chase Boudin, and Larry Krasner all turned their cities into playgrounds for criminals by refusing to prosecute violent crimes and pushing to end cash bail.
Ron DeSantis was not about to allow this anti-police attitude to infect Florida.
Last August, DeSantis suspended Hillsborough County Democrat District Attorney Andrew Warren after Warren boasted he would not enforce the state’s 15 week abortion ban nor would he enforce any legislation the state might pass banning transgender surgeries for minor children.
“When you flagrantly violate your oath of office, when you make yourself above the law, you have violated your duty, you have neglected your duty and you are displaying a lack of competence to be able to perform those duties,” DeSantis stated.
“To take a position that you have veto powers over the laws of the state is untenable,” DeSantis continued.
Warren immediately sued to force DeSantis to reinstatement him.
But U.S. District Judge Robert Hinkle ruled in DeSantis favor saying the court did not have the authority to put Warren back in office.
Only the Florida State Senate can do that.

Warren’s outspoken leftwing views on culture wars issues was not the only time Warren made it clear he would not enforce Florida law.
In the summer of 2020 Warren refused to prosecute 67 Black Lives Matter insurrectionists who police arrested under Florida’s anti-rioting law.
But Warren did find time to prosecute a pastor for holding an in-person church service in violation of a local ordinance despite the fact that Governor DeSantis made it clear that churches should be open for worship.
Governor DeSantis does not just bellyache about liberals running roughshod over the constitution or culture.
DeSantis fights back.
But most importantly – as this case showed once again – DeSantis also knows how to win.
