Whenever Joe Biden is in public his staff sits on pins and needles over what Biden will do or say.

There is a good reason for that.

Joe Biden sang happy birthday and you won’t believe what happened next.

As Black Eye Politics reports:

“Don’t underestimate Joe’s ability to f–k things up,” President Joe Biden’s onetime boss, former President Barack Obama, reportedly said.

Yet even Obama couldn’t have expected Biden to have the ability to mess up singing “Happy Birthday,” but somehow Biden managed.

While speaking at a far-left event the 80-year-old president appeared to forget the name of Martin Luther King Jr.’s daughter-in-law while singing “Happy Birthday” to her on Monday.

The mistake occurred when Biden gave a speech at the National Action Network, an organization which is run by Al Sharpton, Martin Luther King III, and his wife.

“Martin the Third, we celebrate a legacy of your beloved father and mother. They worked for the beloved community. But congratulations today to the honorees including your wife, who I understand it’s her birthday today?” Biden said of 49-year-old Arndrea Waters King.

“Well look, my wife has a rule in our family, when it’s someone’s birthday, you sing ‘Happy Birthday,’” Biden continued. “You ready?”

“Happy Birthday to you,” Biden began. “Happy Birthday to you.”

“Happy Birthday dear [inaudible],” Biden concluded. “Happy Birthday to you.”

Biden also delivered remarks at Martin Luther King Jr.’s historic Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta Sunday where he repeated the debunked claim he’s made in the past that he attended a black church during the civil rights movement.

“Let’s lay one thing to rest. I may be a practicing Catholic, but [I] used to go to 7:30 Mass every morning in high school and then in college before I went to the Black church,” the president said.

He went on to praise U.N. ambassador and former Southern Christian Leadership Conference executive director Andrew Young and said he was one of the “greatest we’ve ever had.”

“Andy and I took on apartheid in South Africa and a whole lot else. They didn’t want to see him coming. But we used to – that’s when we would organize to march and to desegregate the city,” Biden said.

Biden claimed multiple times on the campaign trail that he was arrested with Young in apartheid-era South Africa but was forced to admit that the claims were untrue.

“I had the great honor of being arrested with our UN ambassador on the streets of Soweto trying to get to see him on (Robben) Island,” Biden said in 2020.

“I was never arrested, and I don’t think [Biden] was either,” Young said at the time.

“I guess I wasn’t arrested, I was stopped,” Biden said.
