The Supreme Court heard arguments on a case that Democrats bet the farm on.
If the Democrats win it could lead to another round of impeachment or criminal charges once Trump leaves office.
Trey Gowdy issued one challenge to the Supreme Court that changed Donald Trump’s life.
As American Patriot Daily reports:
Democrats filed their arguments in a Supreme Court case over access to the secret grand jury material from the Mueller report.
The General Counsel for the House Democrats claimed Congress needed access to this material to determine if there was any additional evidence in the Mueller report that could be used for a second round of articles of impeachment.
“The [House Judiciary] Committee’s investigation did not cease with the conclusion of the impeachment trial,” House Democrats argued. “If this material reveals new evidence supporting the conclusion that President Trump committed impeachable offenses that are not covered by the articles adopted by the House, the committee will proceed accordingly — including, if necessary, by considering whether to recommend new articles of impeachment.”
Trey Gowdy defended the President on television during the Russian collusion hoax and the impeachment scam.
Gowdy had a message for the nine Supreme Court justices – reject this latest Democrat attempt to weaponize the justice system to smear President Trump.
“I really don’t know what my fellow citizens thought when you made Jerry Nadler and Adam Schiff the chairman of two really important committees,” Gowdy told Fox News host Dana Perino. “I mean, what the hell did you think they were going to do? They are going to investigate the president.”
“If you’ve got enough, indict and if you don’t get enough, don’t do ‘oppo’ research through the grand jury and I think that is why that does not need to become public. [When it comes to] grand jury testimony, either indict or shut up. That is my position on grand jury testimony,” Gowdy added.
Grand jury proceedings are supposed to remain secret.
If a grand jury decides not to produce an indictment, individuals lose the presumption of innocence if prosecutors leak out what evidence they presented to convince a grand jury the suspect was guilty without the accused having a chance to defend their name.
Robert Mueller and his team of partisan Democrat prosecutors did not produce any charges against a single American for conspiring with Russia in the 2016 election.
Mueller also did not recommend Congress indict the President or that the Justice Department charge President Trump with obstruction of justice.
Democrats want access to this secret material to use against the President in the 2020 election and if the President wins a re-election, as the basis for a second round of impeachment in 2021.
Trey Gowdy implored the five conservative justices on the Supreme Court to recognize the game Democrats were playing and reject any efforts by Ruth Bader Ginsburg and the rest of the liberal justices to side with the Democrats.
