Fox News viewers were not expecting to hear praise of Ilhan Omar.

But that is exactly what happened.

And a top Fox News star defends Ilhan Omar.

As Great American Daily reports:

A train carrying hazardous chemicals in East Palestine, Ohio derailed on February 3.

Authorities then conducted a controlled burn of the chemicals creating a miles-wide toxic cloud.

The chemicals spilled into the river in East Palestine which services drinking water for ten percent of America’s population.

Biden administration officials — including Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg — ignored the catastrophe for more than ten days.

In fact, one of the only Democrats to speak up about the plight of the residents of East Palestine was Ilhan Omar.

Omar called for immediate action and for Pete Buttigieg to actually do his job.

“East Palestine railroad derailment will have a significant negative impact on the health and well-being of the residents for decades, and there is almost zero national media attention,” Omar wrote on social media. “We need Congressional inquiry and direct action from Pete Buttigieg to address this tragedy.”

The hosts of “Fox and Friends” blasted Biden and Buttigieg for not giving this disaster the attention this deserved.

“They certainly don’t see the passion, and they certainly don’t see Mayor Pete,” Brian Kilmeade began.

Kilmeade suggested Biden and Buttigieg’s neglect is owed to the fact that Ohio is a solid red state and 70 percent of the counties surrounding East Palestine voted for Donald Trump.

“You just hope this has nothing to do with the fact that Ohio is a red state,” Kilmeade continued.

Kilmeade’s co-host Steve Doocy blasted Buttigieg for using a public appearance at a conference to complain that one of the top problems facing America was the fact that white people held too many construction jobs.

Fox News contributor Katie Pavlich noted it was Ilhan Omar speaking up for the residents of East Palestine as the Democrat administration acted like there was nothing to worry about.

“You know what? Ilhan Omar was right as well. This is gonna be something these people are gonna have to worry about for years,” Pavlich declared.

News reports show animals in East Palestine dying.

Tests of the water yielded alarming results.

Governor Mike DeWine warned that thousands of residents within a two-mile radius of the spill may die.

And it took Pete Buttigieg more than 10 days to comment on a catastrophe that some experts believe is worse than Chernobyl while worrying about the number of white people working in construction.
