A Smoking Gun In Ilhan Omar’s Ugly Sex Scandal Was One Money Payment

Ilhan Omar

Ilhan Omar’s been in the middle of controversy since her first day in Congress.

As she runs for re-election the story is the same.

And now a smoking gun in Ilhan Omar’s ugly sex scandal was one money payment.

As American Patriot Daily reports:

Minnesota Congresswoman Ilhan Omar found herself in the middle of a crisis when Beth Mynett filed for divorce from her husband, political consultant Tim Mynett.

In the divorce papers, Mynett alleged that Ilhan Omar broke her marriage by carrying on an affair with Tim.

In Beth Mynett’s divorce filing, she questioned if the travel Tim Mynett listed for consulting on Omar’s 2018 congressional campaign was really travel for purposes of the alleged affair with Omar.

“On reflection Defendant’s more recent travel and long work hours now appear to be more related to his affair with Rep. Omar than with his actual work commitments, averaging 12 days per month away from home over the past year,” Mynett’s filing read.

That led to National Legal and Policy Center Chairman Peter Flaherty filing an ethics complaint with the Federal Election Commission over $12,673.43 in what Omar listed in campaign filings as “travel expenses.”

Since the 2018 campaign, Omar paid Mynett’s firm E Street Group $878,000.

Omar and Mynett recently got married and this is Omar’s third marriage.

Putting family members on the campaign payroll is not illegal, but it has to be in an aboveboard fashion.

“Salary payments to a member of a candidate’s family are not considered personal use, provided that the family member is providing bona fide services to the campaign and at a rate that does not exceed fair market value of the services provide,” the Federal Election Commission rules read.

Omar’s payments to Mynett could very well be perfectly legal.

But there is a double standard going on.

Prosecutors hounded Donald Trump and the Trump Organization over payments to Stormy Daniels that clearly did not violate any campaign finance laws from Trump’s perspective.

Trump fixer Michael Cohen paid the price in that investigation.

But if Ilhan Omar was a conservative Republican, there is no doubt federal investigators would go through Mynett’s travel records and Omar’s campaign expense reports with a fine-tooth comb to dig up anything they could use to threaten her with criminal charges.

Since Omar is socialist Democrat, she gets the benefit of the doubt and her activities are not even scrutinized.

This double standard has infuriated Trump supporters for years.

It began after the FBI allowed Hillary Clinton to walk free while launching an investigation into Donald Trump based on a fabricated pretext of Russian collusion.

And now it continues today as Ilhan Omar escapes scrutiny for her campaign expenditures in alleged relation to the affair she was conducting.
