Maxine Waters made a career creating controversy.
But Waters may have gone too far.
And Nancy Pelosi was completely unprepared for this line that Maxine Waters just crossed.
As American Patriot Daily reports:
Critics contend California Congresswoman Maxine Waters committed a criminal act by crossing state lines to travel to Minnesota to incite a riot by urging Black Lives Matter rioters to confront police and stage an insurrection if a jury acquits Officer Derek Chauvin of charges he murdered George Floyd.
“We’re looking for a guilty verdict,” Waters ranted. “And we’re looking to see if all of the talk that took place and has been taking place after they saw what happened to George Floyd, if nothing does not happen, then we know that we’ve got to not only stay in the street, but we’ve got to fight for justice. But I am very hopeful, and I hope we are going to get a verdict that says ‘guilty, guilty, guilty.’ If we don’t, we cannot go away.”
Reporters confronted Pelosi with Waters’ comments and Pelosi refused to condemn Waters for ordering acts of domestic terrorism.
“No, Maxine talked about confrontation in the manner of the civil rights movement. I myself think we should take our lead from the George Floyd family. They’ve handled this with great dignity, and no ambiguity or lack of–misinterpretation by the other side. No, I don’t think she should apologize,” Pelosi declared.
After Pelosi supported Waters’ call for insurrection, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy told Breitbart that he would introduce a resolution censoring Waters for her comments.
“This weekend in Minnesota, Maxine Waters broke the law by violating curfew and then incited violence. Increased unrest has already led to violence against law enforcement and her comments intentionally poured fuel on the fire,” McCarthy told Breitbart. “We’ve heard this type of violent rhetoric from Waters before, and the United States Congress must clearly and without reservation reprimand this behavior before more people get hurt. But Speaker Pelosi is ignoring Waters’ behavior. That’s why I am introducing a resolution to censure Rep. Waters for these dangerous comments, and I hope that all my colleagues – both Republican and Democrat – will stand up for peace on America’s streets.”
Democrats are defending a historically narrow margin in the House of Representatives going into the 2022 midterm elections.
Nancy Pelosi will now face a situation where Pelosi demands Democrats hold ranks and rally around Maxine Waters and her calls for political violence against police officers.
Democrats lost 15 seats in the House in 2020 in large part because Republicans successfully defined Democrats as the party of defund the police.
Now the most vulnerable members of the Democrat caucus are set up to walk the plank by voting to affirm their support for anti-police insurrection.
