Monica Lewinsky brought up old history that Bill Clinton wanted to stay buried.
It was not a good look for the former President.
Americans could not believe what Monica Lewinsky said about Bill Clinton.
As American Patriot Daily reports:
Uber Eats’ official Twitter account put out a tweet asking “what’s the most high-risk, low-reward thing you’ve ever done?”
Monica Lewinsky was one of the thousands that answered.
And Lewinsky responded with an eyeball emoji.
You can see the tweet from Lewinsky at the bottom of this article.
There is no doubt that the affair with Clinton turned her life upside down and nearly ended Clinton’s presidency.
Clinton lied in a deposition about having an affair with Lewinsky—which included lewd sexual acts in the Oval Office—which led to Republicans in the House of Representatives drafting and passing articles of impeachment against Clinton.
Even though the Senate acquitted Clinton in the trial, the stain of these events will stay with Clinton forever despite Clinton’s best efforts to make sure they are never included in the first paragraph of his obituary.
The Lewinsky episode was the last in a pattern of Clinton allegedly using his position of power in elected office to prey on women.
During the Lewinsky investigation, Juanita Broaddrick stepped forward to credibly accuse Clinton of raping her in the 1970s.
The media largely dismissed the story at the time, but when the “Me Too” movement took hold, many on the left and in the corporate media admitted to wrongly dismissing Broaddrick’s claims out of hand.
Paula Jones accused Clinton of sexually harassing her in the 1980s.
It was during the Paula Jones lawsuit that Clinton perjured himself over his relationship with Lewinsky setting his eventual impeachment in motion.
During a deposition in the Jones lawsuit, Clinton claimed he never had sexual relations with Lewinsky.
This led to independent counsel Ken Starr producing the famed “blue dress” containing a semen stain from Clinton which led to Starr’s final report detailing perjury allegations against Clinton.
These perjury allegations eventually formed the basis of one of the articles of impeachment against Clinton.
Clinton also settled the sexual harassment case against Jones for $850,000.
Finally, Kathleen Willey also stepped forward after the Lewinsky affair went public to credibly claim Bill Clinton sexually assaulted her in the Oval Office in 1993.
Lewinsky never alleged any wrongdoing by Clinton, like Broaddrick, Jones and Willey did.
But the vast gap in the power dynamic was unmistakable.
Clinton was the President of the United States in his late 40s whereas Lewinsky was a White House intern in her mid-twenties.
Many Americans believed that fact made the Clinton-Lewinsky affair an abuse of power.
