Megyn Kelly Says Trump Campaign Making a big Mistake by Opposing the Bud Light Boycott

Donald Trump Jr. left supporters wondering what was going on.

Conservatives boycotted Bud Light, but Donald Trump Jr. was not on board.

Megyn Kelly called out Donald Trump Jr. for this shocking response to Bud Light.

As Black Eye Politics reports:

Conservatives scored a major victory over woke corporations with a boycott of Bud Light.

But Donald Trump and Donald Trump Jr. had a strange response.

And Megyn Kelly broke some brutal news about the Bud Light boycott to Donald Trump.

Conservatives began boycotting Bud Light after the company signed an endorsement deal with transgender social media influencer Dylan Mulvaney.

The boycott succeeded as Anheuser-Busch — Bud Light’s parent company — lost six billion dollars in market cap in just two weeks.

But Donald Trump has not yet endorsed the Bud Light boycott.

And Donald Trump Jr. took an ever more disturbing tact by calling on conservatives to end the boycott.

Trump Jr. begged conservatives to call off the boycott because Anheuser-Busch donated money to the Republican Party in the past.

“But like when I actually look into it, I’m not gonna blame the whole company for the inaction or the stupidity of someone in a marketing campaign that got woke as hell,” Trump Jr. said on his Triggered podcast.

“We looked into the political giving and lobbying history of Anheuser-Busch. And guess what? They actually support Republicans in, in woke corporate America. Anheuser-Busch supports Republicans,” Trump Jr. continued.

Megyn Kelly could not believe the Trump family was passing on the opportunity to stand up for its working-class base against a woke corporation trying to normalize the transgender lifestyle.

Kelly said the first thing Trump Jr. got wrong was when Trump Jr. called Anheuser-Busch an “American company,” noting that a company based in Belgium really runs the company.

“Number one, as I point out, this is not an American company. It is not an American company,” Kelly began.

Kelly added that Trump Jr. was foolish to give CEO Brendan Whitworth a pass by blaming this fiasco on one woke activist in the marketing department.

CEOs — Kelly explained — are responsible for everything that goes on in their company and that if Whitworth did not know his marketing department intended to offend its customer base by embracing transgenderism, then the board of directors needed to fire Whitworth.

“Number two, ‘I’m not gonna blame the entire company for the actions of one woke employee.’ No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. The CEO runs the company. The CEO is responsible for everything that happens on his watch. And if the CEO were upset about what the marketing department did here, there is zero evidence of that. Someone needs to get fired. At a minimum, if you’re not gonna issue the apologetic groveling email to your fan base, at least fire somebody,” Kelly continued.

Kelly also criticized Trump Jr. for citing Anheuser-Busch’s donation history by pointing out that big companies like Anheuser-Busch donate to Mitt Romney-style RINOs that oppose Trump’s “Make America Great Again” agenda.

“I guarantee you the Republicans that Anheuser-Busch Bush has donated to are the Mitt Romney types. It’s gonna be establishment type Republicans. Not that there’s anything wrong with them, but that’s not Trump’s base,” Kelly stated. “Donald Trump Jr. should be thinking about how Donald Trump’s base is thinking.”

Kelly implored Donald Trump and Donald Trump Jr. to get on the right side of this fight and side with their base in a fight against a woke corporation pushing the Democrat Party’s social values.

“They need to stand with their base. So I think that was a rare political misstep by team Trump,” Kelly told listeners.
