And a new sex scandal turns CNN upside down.

A new report alleges that Jake Tapper’s executive producer, Federico Quadrani, was fired in early February for an inappropriate relationship with a subordinate.
Quadrani was allegedly released from his position for “hooking up with” a senior producer at the network, sources told Page Six.
Sources said that Quadrani was already under a human resources “investigation of sorts” over the relationship. “There were some complaints. No one had proof, and these things are hard to prove. Jake was aware of the investigation,” another source told Page Six.
Right before Quadrani was cleared Tapper was reportedly “presented with something that he couldn’t ignore” on Feb. 8, and Quadrani was fired by Feb 10, according to Page Six. “Jake was made aware of it and acted quickly. Someone discovered something accidentally and brought it to Tapper. He delivered it to [human resources], and they were terminated,” one of the sources told the outlet.
The affair was with a mid-level female executive, who was also fired, the Daily Mail reported.
This comes a little over a year after CNN President Jeff Zucker resigned due to a “consensual relationship with my closest colleague” that he was “required to disclose” at the time it began but didn’t. The relationship became public during an investigation into former CNN anchor Chris Cuomo.
“As part of the investigation into Chris Cuomo’s tenure at CNN, I was asked about a consensual relationship with my closest colleague, someone I have worked with for more than 20 years,” Zucker said in a memo CNN released. “I acknowledged the relationship evolved in recent years. I was required to disclose it when it began but I didn’t. I was wrong. As a result, I am resigning today.”
These scandals have done nothing to help CNN amid their struggling ratings.
CNN’s ratings have been going into a free-fall ever since former President Donald Trump left office, as their rivals Fox News and MSNBC continue to maintain their viewership.
One week in January, the CNN network’s average primetime viewership plunged to just 444,000 viewers, according to TVNewser. In contrast, Fox News managed to pull in just under two million primetime viewers on average during that same week. And MSNBC had an average of 943,000 primetime viewers.
“The daytime is even worse for CNN. The network averaged just 417,000 viewers, while Fox News pulled in 1,387,00 million and MSNBC averaged 629,000 total viewers throughout the day.” The Daily Wire reported.
CNN is run by Democrats who, despite their own personal scandals, believe that they are morally superior to normal Americans but the ratings show that most Americans have too much sense to watch CNN.
