Kamala Harris is in even more trouble than Joe Biden.

It’s leading many Democrats to openly discuss removing her as the candidate if Joe Biden declines to seek re-election.

And Kamala Harris is in deep trouble after she this jaw-dropping approval rating poll.

As American Patriot Daily reports:

The bad polling news continues to pour in for Democrats.

A brand-new NPR/PBS NewsHour/Maristpoll found 44 percent of Democrats want to dump Joe Biden in 2024 as opposed to just 36 percent of Democrats that believe Biden gives them the best chance of retaining the White House.

That same poll found 50 percent of Republicans believe Donald Trump is the GOP’s best bet to win back the White House.

That could put Kamala Harris in the driver’s seat for the Democrats’ 2024 presidential nomination.

Marist wrote of their poll’s findings:

Looking ahead to 2024, 36% of Democrats and Democratic leaning independents say their party will have a better chance winning the White House with Biden at the top of the ticket. 44% want someone else, and 20% are unsure.

In contrast, asked the same question about Trump, 50% of Republicans and GOP leaning independents say a Trump ticket has the best chance of recapturing the presidency. 35% want someone else, and 14% say they are unsure.

Democrats’ overriding fear is Donald Trump spending four more years in the White House.

In 2020, no faction in the Democrat base loved Joe Biden, but the party voters compared the senile Biden to a freak show collection of socialists and woke identity politics social justice warriors and rallied behind Biden as the most electable candidate.

But that lack of enthusiasm is costing Biden as president.

Democrats that never loved Biden in the first place jumped ship as soon as inflation spiraled out of control, the situation at the southern border devolved into a crisis, and Afghanistan became the most humiliating American military defeat in the nation’s history.

A recent poll in Pennsylvania by Franklin and Marshall College found just five percent of voters held a strongly favorable opinion of the job Joe Biden’s doing as president.

The apathetic level of support explains why so many Democrats are willing to move on from Biden in 2024.

Normally parties rally around their president.

But in this case what unites the Democrats is hatred of Donald Trump.

Joe Biden’s failed record on the economy, inflation and the border combined with his senility mean that Democrats think Donald Trump would defeat Biden and liberals are shopping for a new candidate.

That opens the door for Kamala Harris to step up but polling data shows she is the most unpopular vice president in 50 years.

There is no way Democrats would give Harris a free pass to the nomination and other candidates would challenge the politically inept and personally grating Harris in a primary.

That creates problems in and of itself as Harris’ status as a black woman means the woke mob that makes up a large portion of the Democrat base believes Harris deserves the nomination based solely on her race and gender.

But other party leaders doubt Harris’ ability to defeat Donald Trump after her 2020 campaign ended in humiliation.

The party that undergoes the most fractious primary fight always loses the general election as the winner of the primary spends too much time trying to heal old wounds and supporters of the defeated candidate show the winning candidate – who was their second, third or fourth choice – the cold shoulder feeling their candidate got cheated.

This divide played out in 2016 when Bernie Sanders supporters refused to unite behind Hillary Clinton helping Trump win the 2016 election.

A weak and flawed Harris candidacy attracting primary challengers is a recipe for a divided Democrat Party that could once again hand Donald Trump the presidency.
