Joe Biden hid stolen classified documents in three different locations – his Communist Chinese funded think tank in Washington as well as the garage and personal library of a home in Wilmington, Delaware that 2018 records showed Hunter Biden owned.
Biden stole these documents six years ago after leaving office as Vice President.
Since Biden was Vice President, Biden had no power to declassify the documents before his term expired.
Biden’s lawyers discovered the first set of stolen documents one week before the midterm election and kept the discovery secret so as not to hurt Democrats’ electoral chances.
The Biden team found the second and third tranches of stolen classified documents on December 20 and also concealed that knowledge.
White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre tried to claim this was all a big misunderstanding and that Biden accidentally stole documents and hid them in three different locations.
“We are confident that a thorough review will show that these documents were inadvertently misplaced, and the president and his lawyers acted promptly upon discovery of this mistake,” Jean-Pierre stated.
“He did not know the records were there when they were found,” Jean-Pierre added.
But Joe Biden changed course and switched his story now claiming it was no big deal because Biden hid the stolen secrets in a locked garage.
“Let me, I’m going to get a chance to speak on all of this. God willing, soon. But as I said earlier this week, people, and by the way, my Corvette’s in a locked garage. Okay, so it’s not like they’re sitting out in the street,” Biden told Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy.
Biden hinting at the fact that he knew the stolen papers were kept under a lock no more secure than a combination lock on a gym locker as well as the fact that classified documents were found on multiple locations in a Biden family home wiped out the defense that Biden took the classified materials inadvertently.DOOCY: "Classified materials, next to your Corvette? Fox News legal analyst Jonathan Turley wrote:
Jean-Pierre is repeatedly insisting that the documents were “inadvertently misplaced.” Yet, they had to be not just inadvertently but repeatedly misplaced. These documents had to have been moved, distributed and divided to end up at different locations.
Joe Biden is now the subject of a special counsel criminal investigation into this matter.
And already one of Biden’s key defenses just crumbled.
