Joe Biden is ruling by executive order.
But the bill is about to come due.
And Joe Biden is dreading having to face Clarence Thomas in court in these lawsuits.
As American Patriot Daily reports:
Republican state attorneys general are taking a page out of the book of their Democrat counterparts who filed 207 lawsuits against the Trump administration.
Many of these cases ended up before the Supreme Court.
Red state attorneys general are beginning to file lawsuits challenging Biden’s radical big government and open borders agenda.
Montana Attorney General Austin Knudsen told The Daily Caller that Biden—who signed 38 executive orders in his first three months as President—conducted himself like a king and that Republicans were beginning to fight back.
“When you step in on day one and start issuing edicts and executive orders like King George, I and a lot of other conservative Republicans are going to start having problems,” Knudsen stated.
“State attorneys general are coming into their own and realizing they can be an effective pushback against an overreaching executive,” Knudsen added.
Knudsen is suing Biden over Biden’s executive order canceling the Keystone XL pipeline.
The pipeline would have employed as many as 11,000 Americans as construction ramped up and Biden killed those jobs with the stroke of a pen.
Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry sued Biden over orders banning new oil and natural gas leases on federal lands as well as Biden’s pause on virtually all deportations of illegal aliens.
“Democrats are basically hell bent on overreaching, overspending, over-regulating,” Landry told The Daily Caller in an exclusive interview. “All things that have detrimental long-term effects on job creation, and overall stability for the country.”
Finally, West Virginia Attorney General Pat Morrisey is leading a coalition of 13 Republican attorneys general suing the Biden administration over language in the blue state bailout bill banning states from cutting taxes if they accept money from the pool of money dedicated to state and local aide.
“The Biden administration has already gone much further than Barack Obama. The Obama administration would sometimes pause on various topics and really be very sensitive to the public relations appearance,” Attorney General Morrisey told to The Daily Caller. “Biden is going a lot further across the board.”
Morrisey explained that the system of checks and balances also applied to the relationship between the states and the federal government, and that it would be up to Republican state attorneys general to block illegal orders issued by Joe Biden.
“Frequently people talk about separation of powers between the three branches on the federal side: the executive, the legislature and the judiciary,” he continued. “But there’s also a critical need to ensure that the states don’t get run over by the Feds.”
The Trump administration would fight adverse rulings all the way to the Supreme Court.
It is likely that the Biden administration will fight for their policies which means they will find themselves trying to justify Biden’s actions in front of Clarence Thomas and the rest of the justices on the Supreme Court.
