One Joe Biden Ally May Be Looking At Prison Over These Dead Bodies

Gretchen Whitmer

The Democrat Party is about to encounter a tsunami of scandal.

It may sweep away one of their rising stars.

Now one Joe Biden ally may be looking at prison over these dead bodies.

As Conservative Revival reports:

Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s administration hasn’t been transparent about the state’s nursing home deaths.

Like New York, Michigan forced nursing homes by law to take in patients that were Covid positive.

Out of the 15,273 people that have died of the virus in Michigan, 5,515 were residents at long-term care facilities.

The administration also paid $155,000, of taxpayer money, to former Health Department director Robert Gordon, who abruptly left the job, on condition that he kept the reasons for his departure confidential.

A county prosecutor in Michigan, Peter Lucido, said Whitmer could possibly face charges for her early handling of nursing homes.

The Macomb County prosecutor told ABC Detroit that he’s requesting people who lost loved ones in nursing homes to find out information from the facilities and the details surrounding. Because of HIPAA laws Lucido say he can’t get the information directly.

“If we find there’s been willful neglect of office if we find there’s been reckless endangerment of a person’s life by bringing them in then we would move forward with charges against the Governor,” Lucido said. “Of course, we would. Nobody’s above the law in this state.”

Lucido “will be meeting with Macomb County Police to instruct them on how to process and verify the information and bring it to his office,” ABC Detroit reported. “After becoming Prosecutor this year, Lucido asked fellow county prosecutors to form a Blue-Ribbon Committee for consistency investigating these cases. That Association as a group declined and said Lucido should make the request to the Michigan Attorney General and feds. Lucido provided letters showing he did that last May.”

Michigan House Oversight Chairman Steve Johnson, a Republican, said he just wants answers from Whitmer.

“We have invited the department to come and testify before our oversight committee. They have refused to. We’ve asked them to share with us the data with the nursing home deaths. They refuse that. And now we see that the governor has paid the former health department director Robert Gordon $155,000 to stay quiet, which begs the question: what are they trying to hide.”  he told Fox News.

Whitmer, in an interview on CNN Sunday, said she supports an independent investigation into Gov. Andrew Cuomo over allegations of inappropriate sexual behavior toward five women. However she blasted Lucido for taking nursing home deaths seriously.

Whitmer’s office responded to Lucido, calling his comments “shameful political attacks based in neither fact or reality.”
