Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is a never-ending source of scandal.

Now it’s gone too far.

And four tragic words could bring down Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

As Conservative Revival reports:

Leftwing New York Times columnist David Brooks set off Ocasio-Cortez with his column offering his take on the meaning of the midterm election.

Brooks takeaway was that voters put an end to “performative populism” by rejecting candidates endorsed by Donald Trump in key races.

But Brooks did not point fingers only at the right.

Brooks explained the left had their own performative populists and namechecked Ocasio-Cortez as the prime example.

“The left had its own smaller version of performative populism. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez became a major political figure thanks to her important contributions to Instagram,” Brooks wrote.

Brooks also slammed Ocasio-Cortez pushing Democrats to defund the police and ICE.

“Slogans like ‘Abolish ICE’ and ‘Defund the police’ were not practical policies, just cool catchphrases to put on posters,” Brooks added.

But what really lit Ocasio-Cortez’s fuse was when Brooks wrote that Ocasio-Cortez’s $93 trillion-dollar communist Green New Deal scheme was nothing more than “cotton candy media concoction.”

The Green New Deal was Ocasio-Cortez’s legislative baby, and its goal was under – under the guise of combatting so-called “climate change” – to completely turn America into a socialist nation.

It called for refitting all buildings with so-called “sustainable” – i.e., more expensive, and less efficient – sources of energy such as wind and solar, socialist health care, and guaranteed income so Americans didn’t have to work.

And most controversially was a set of frequently asked questions posted to Ocasio-Cortez’s website explaining that the Green New Deal would eliminate air travel.

The FAQ page read that “when it comes down to something like air travel, which the FAQs say they want to eliminate within the next 10 years.”

The Green New Deal’s ultimate goal is controlling every aspect of Americans lives.

And one aspect of that authoritarian agenda is banning meat and forcing everyone to eat bugs and plant-based meat.

To accomplish that goal the FAQ addressed the idea of needing to ban cow farts since cows farting releases methane which the radical environmentalists claim causes so-called ‘climate change.’

“We set a goal to get to net-zero, rather than zero emissions, in 10 years because we aren’t sure that we’ll be able to fully get rid of farting cows and airplanes that fast, but we think we can ramp up renewable manufacturing and power production, retrofit every building in America, build the smart grid, overhaul transportation and agriculture, plant lots of trees and restore our ecosystem to get to net-zero,” the FAQ read.

Ocasio-Cortez never lets a slight go unanswered.

“Perhaps David Brooks should actually read the legislation he’s insulting before referring to it as “cotton candy.” The Green New Deal was thoughtfully constricted alongside a coalition of scientists, academics, frontline communities,& more. He wants me to be Trump, but I’m not,” Ocasio-Cortez wrote.

Many would agree that Ocasio-Cortez is not Trump as Trump opposes socialism and enjoys eating hamburgers and doesn’t want to ban them.
