A Former Top Aide Said Bill Clinton’s Links to Jeffrey Epstein Were Worse Than Anyone Thought

Bill Clinton

Bill Clinton just got some bad news.

The former President’s denials about an ugly sex scandal just collapsed.

And this former top aide said Bill Clinton’s links to Jeffrey Epstein were worse than anyone thought.

As Black Eye Politics reports:

Bill Clinton’s close friendship with the late Jeffrey Epstein has long been a source of scandal.

Jeffrey Epstein died, allegedly by suicide, last year under mysterious circumstances while awaiting trial. Epstein was facing accusations of rape and trafficking underage girls for rich and powerful men.

Former President Bill Clinton, who has had multiple women accuse him of sexual assault and was impeached for lying about his sexual relations under oath, has tried to downplay his connection to Epstein.

He has denied ever going to Epstein’s “pedophile” island, Little St. James, which was reportedly at the center of Epstein’s alleged crimes.

However, a long-time friend told Vanity Fair magazine this week that Clinton did visit there.

“Doug Band, who served as Clinton’s right-hand man for years after he left the White House, told Vanity Fair the 42nd president visited Little St. James, the Caribbean island where Epstein allegedly trafficked underage victims.” Fox News reported.

Vanity Fair painted Band as self-interested and an unreliable witness.

“The lengthy piece in Vanity Fair reveals unflattering details about both the Clintons and Band, who is portrayed as a shady self-dealer. After starting his corporate advisory firm, Teneo, Band converted donors from the Clinton Foundation, which he was on the board of, into clients,” Fox News notes.

However, Band isn’t the first person to claim that Clinton visited Epstein’s island.

Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre alleged in court documents that she saw Clinton on the island with two women.

“I remember asking Jeffrey what’s Bill Clinton doing here kind of thing, and he laughed it off and said ‘well he owes me a favor,’” Giuffre said in her interview.

“He never told me what favors they were,” Giuffre continued, clarifying her story. “I never knew. I didn’t know if he was serious. It was just a joke. He told me a long time ago that everyone owes him favors. They’re all in each other’s pockets.”

A Clinton spokesperson told media at the time that Bill had “not spoken to Epstein in well over a decade” and that Clinton and Epstein fell out “well before [Epstein’s] crimes came to light.”

This is hardly the first sexual scandal that Bill Clinton has faced.

In 1998 Clinton settled a sexual harassment lawsuit by making an $850,000 payment without the case going to court after Paula Jones claimed that he propositioned her and exposed himself while he was governor of Arkansas.

Clinton also committed perjury, lying about his sexual relationship with unpaid intern Monica Lewinsky.

Given Clinton’s unsavory sexual record there’s every reason to take allegations that he was on Epstein’s island seriously.
