Dr. Fauci Just Double Crossed Trump. You Won’t Believe What He Said On CNN

Dr. Fauci Donald Trump

Dr. Anthony Fauci is one of the health experts on the President’s task force.

But in recent weeks Dr. Fauci has spoken out against President Trump’s attempts to reopen the American economy.

And Dr. Fauci just double-crossed President Trump. You won’t believe what he said on CNN.

The fake news media is fully invested in trying to sabotage the President’s response to the coronavirus outbreak.

As such, they are always trying to play up a conflict between Dr. Fauci – who is the nation’s leading expert of infectious diseases – and President Trump.

Fake news CNN host Jake Tapper successfully baited Dr. Fauci into feeding this storyline during an interview on Tapper’s “State of the Union” Sunday show.

Tapper pressed Dr. Fauci on a fake news story in The New York Times claiming Donald Trump could have stopped all the death and devastation from the coronavirus had the President ordered a lockdown in late February or early March.

Dr. Fauci tried to dodge the question stating, “As I’ve said many times, we look at it from a pure health standpoint. We make a recommendation. Often the recommendation is taken. Sometimes it’s not. But it is what it is. We are where we are right now.”

But Tapper continued to force the issue and Fauci finally handed the fake news media the sound bite they were after when Dr. Fauci claimed that acting earlier would have saved lives.

“You know, Jake, again, it’s the what would have, what could have. It’s very difficult to go back and say that. I mean, obviously, you could logically say that if you had a process that was ongoing and you started mitigation earlier, you could have saved lives. Obviously, no one is going to deny that. But what goes into those kinds of decisions is complicated. But you’re right, I mean, obviously, if we had right from the very beginning shut everything down, it may have been a little bit different. But there was a lot of pushback about shutting things down back then,” Dr. Fauci added.

But had President Trump ordered a lockdown on March 1 when there was one confirmed coronavirus case in New York and two deaths in the entire country, the fake news would have instead criticized the President for acting on panic, destroying the economy and sending tens of millions of Americans to the unemployment line because he rashly acted on impulse.

The fake news celebrated this development, claiming Dr. Fauci contradicting the President in public was sure to raise the President’s ire and lead to Trump firing Dr. Fauci.

But the White House released a statement slamming the fake news media for this manufactured scandal.

The Trump administration used the opportunity to warn Americans that it was Democrats and the fake news media that spent weeks distracting the nation with impeachment and downplaying the severity of the consequences the coronavirus could inflict on America.

“This media chatter is ridiculous – President Trump is not firing Dr. Fauci…It was Democrats and the media who ignored Coronavirus…” White House Principal Deputy Press Secretary Hogan Gidley wrote on social media.
