Former Clinton adviser Dick Morris said that President Joe Biden has no chance of re-election now due to the classified document scandal.
Morris discussed the problems Biden is facing with John Catsimatidis on his WABC radio show, “The Cats Roundtable,” on Sunday.
Morris highlighted a poll which said that only a fourth of Democrat voters actually want Biden to run for election again.
“When Biden as president can’t get more than 25% of the primary vote in his own party, that’s near death. He’s so incredibly vulnerable,” Morris said, adding, “You’d think he’d be at 40% or 50% at the least. That means pretty much anybody that breathes on him can knock him over.”
Morris noted that Biden’s document scandal could link him to Hunter’s shady foreign business deals.
The classified documents were found at the Penn Biden Center in Washington, D.C. and Biden’s home and garage in Wilmington, Delaware, both places that Hunter Biden could have accessed.
In addition the classified documents included “briefing materials that covered topics including Ukraine, Iran and the United Kingdom,” CNN reported.
“It’s different. Trump took them like mementos, like an ashtray. A letter from Kim Jong-un that he could show people … [Biden’s situation] is directly linked to a big bribery scandal involving the vice president and his son. That’s a whole other situation,” he said.
Morris’s conclusion was that the classified information scandal “will knock Biden out of the race.”
There’s one particular email from Hunter Biden’s laptop that New York Post columnist Miranda Devine said needed to be “cross-matched” with classified materials pertaining to Ukraine found at Biden’s home while speaking with “Tucker Carlson Tonight.”
“’The strategic values to create a land bridge for RU [Russia] to Crimea. That won’t directly affect Burisma holdings, but it will limit future UK exploration and utilization of offshore opportunities in particular. It will also further destabilize the UK nationally and for whatever government is in power and the US will respond with even stronger sanctions. Those sanctions will threaten the tenuous support of the EU, which does not have the political will to incur steep energy price increases’ and so on,” the email read, host Tucker Carlson reported.
Devine noted that the email “reads like a classified document.”
“There’s information in there that is not readily available. He sounds very knowledgeable and very breezy about it. And you have to remember that this is at a time – a month before he joined the Burisma board. He needed money desperately, to feed his drug habit, and they were going to pay him $83,000 a month to do not very much,” Devine added.
