Barack Obama’s scandal plagued Presidency haunts America to this day.
Now in the middle of a global pandemic, someone blew the whistle on a favor Obama did for a Chinese lab that may have unleashed the Coronavirus.
Now Barack Obama will have to face the music over this Chinese Coronavirus scandal.
United States intelligence now believes the coronavirus originated in the Wuhan Institute of Virology and did not jump to humans from residents eating bats in a Wuhan wet market.
That changes the equation for how the United States will deal with China once the economy reopens and the pandemic recedes.
However, that was not the extent of the bad news.
Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz appeared on Tucker Carlson’s show and Gaetz revealed that in 2015, the Obama administration funneled a $3.7 million grant to the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
Gaetz told Carlson:
I’m against funding Chinese research in our country, but I’m sure against funding it in China. The NIH gives a $3.7 million grant to the Wuhan Institute of Virology [and] they then advertise that they need coronavirus researchers and following that, coronavirus erupts in Wuhan.
What’s really troubling to me is either conspicuously or miraculously the Wuhan Institute of Virology is able to sequence the virus on January 2 but China doesn’t admit to the virus existing until January 9 and then the Wuhan Institute of Virology doesn’t release this important scientific information to the world until January 12.
So at best, Americans are funding people who are lying to us and at worst, we’re funding people who we knew had problems handling pathogens, who then birthed a monster virus onto the world.
A reporter asked President Trump about this grant at a recent White House coronavirus task force press briefing.
The President promised to take a look at the grant and stop it.
Voters elected Donald Trump in 2016 because they were fed up with Barack Obama’s globalist outlook.
But they had no idea Obama was funding dangerous Chinese virus research on pathogens that could cripple the world’s economy and drive citizens into their homes out of fear.
Had the American people known this fact, they would have demanded Congress impeach then-President Obama and remove him from office.
Former Vice President Joe Biden is the presumptive Democrat nominee for president.
This grant to the Chinese lab that allowed the coronavirus to escape happened on Biden’s watch.
President Trump will surely hammer Biden on the campaign trail and in the debates for this disastrous decision that funded the laboratory that studied a devastating plague.
Biden’s tried to claim that he would be a steady and competent hand on the wheel during a pandemic.
But the former Vice President flunked every test along the way.
Biden attacked the President’s travel ban on China as “xenophobic.”
Strike two on Biden’s record was funding the Wuhan Institute of Virology where the virus now is believed to have originated.
