Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez wants to turn America into a socialist nation.

Ocasio-Cortez has a plan for that.

Alexandria Ocasio schemed to hide this ugly truth from the American people.

As Black Eye Politics reports:

Democrats keep a number of ideas in reserve to cement America as a one-party socialist nation.

One way Democrats plan to install a permanent liberal majority in the Senate and make it impossible for Republicans to win the White House is to add new states which will vote for Democrats 100 percent of the time.

That’s why Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez spoke in favor of the Puerto Rico Status Act which will allow the Puerto Rican people to vote on a referendum that could allow them to become the 51st state if a majority of residents choose that option.

“The Puerto Rico Status Act begins a process for Boricuas to decide their own future. […] We have made historic and unprecedented gains. Never before have terms for independence and free association been so clearly defined, including ramifications for citizenship,” Ocasio-Cortez stated.

Adding Puerto Rico as the 51st state guarantees the Democrats two Democrat senators.

Right now Republicans only need to flip two seats to win back the Senate.

In 2024 Democrat incumbents are running for re-election in the red states of Ohio, Montana, and West Virginia.

With a Republican presidential candidate at the top of the ticket Republicans are favored to win all three.

But the Democrats’ Puerto Rico statehood bill would take effect for the 2024 election gifting Democrats two Senate seats meaning Democrats would control the majority even if Republicans swept Ohio, Montana, and West Virginia.

Adding Puerto Rico as the 51st state for the 2024 election would also pad the Democrats’ electoral vote count.

That’s why other Democrats spoke out in favor of this legislation.

“It is crucial to me that any proposal in Congress to decolonize Puerto Rico be informed and led by Puerto Ricans,” Arizona Democrat Raúl Grijalva declared.

“For far too long, the people of Puerto Rico have been excluded from the full promise of American democracy and self-determination that our nation has always championed,” Majority Leader Steny Hoyer stated.

Leaders in Puerto Rico expressed optimism the island could hold an actual referendum granting statehood.

“This has not been an easy fight. We still have work to do,” Puerto Rico Gov. Pedro Pierluisi of the pro-statehood New Progressive Party said. “Our quest to decolonize Puerto Rico is a civil rights issue.”

Puerto Rico last held a referendum in November 2020 and the pro-statehood forces won 53 to 47 percent.

This legislation heads to the Senate and if the same number of Republicans in the Senate vote for the Puerto Rico statehood bill as did in the House — 16 — it will become law and Democrats will gain a massive advantage in the 2024 election.
