Fox News viewers were stunned by what by what they saw.

The audience tunes in because they expect Fox News to challenge the liberal media’s talking points.

And Trey Gowdy went on Fox News and just did Joe Biden one huge favor.

As Black Eye Politics reports:

Fox News viewers could not believe what they were seeing.

The audience thought Trey Gowdy was on their side.

But Trey Gowdy just said three words that stabbed every Trump supporter in the back.

A 28-year-old transgender went on a murder spree killing three nine-year-old students and three administrators at a Christian school in Nashville.

Police said there was reason to believe the school was targeted and the killings occurred during a time of increasingly violent rhetoric from transgenders targeting conservatives.

In an appearance on Fox News, former South Carolina Congressman Trey Gowdy didn’t use the opportunity to push back on the hateful and increasingly violent transgender ideology that many suspect was behind these killings.

Instead, Gowdy called on Congress to pass “red flag laws” which would allow Democrat prosecutors and judges to order government agents to barge into Americans’ homes and confiscate their firearms even though they have not been convicted of a crime or adjudicated as mentally ill.

“Suicidal ideations, homicidal ideations, mental health issues. The overwhelming majority of mass killers suffer from that. So what does that scream out to us? Red flag laws with due process. But red flag laws, I mean John’s follow-up question was okay, ‘they were lawfully purchased, but yet she wasn’t supposed to have them,’” Gowdy stated.

Even though armed police officers eventually took down the transgender killer, Trey Gowdy absurdly claimed armed law enforcement security at schools would not stop tragedies like this.

Gowdy even echoed a gun-grabber talking point saying Congress should close the so-called “gun show loophole” — this does not exist as every firearms dealer at a gun show is required to perform a background check — which moves Democrats one step closer to their dream of a national gun registration database.

“I confess I used to think having law enforcement officers at a school would help. The evidence does not suggest that it does. I used to hear from my colleagues in the House. Oh, we need more legislation. Most guns are lawfully purchased. And the legislation I constantly hear about is closing the gun show loophole. Okay, fine. Close it. But that will not stop a single mass shooting,” Gowdy stated.

Gowdy closed his remarks by doubling down on red flag laws — which Democrats will exploit to say anyone who posts on social media about COVID, the 2020 election, or supporting Donald Trump is crazy and should have their guns taken away — while dismissing the Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms as frivolous.

“So I’m interested in red flag laws. I’m interested in responsibilities to turn people in. And I’m interested in this country, reckon, having a reckoning with the fact that we talk about every right, all the rights we have except the right for a seven-year-old to learn to read and write without getting murdered. How about that right? How about the right to go to elementary school without being murdered? Where does that fall in our hierarchy of rights in this country?” Gowdy concluded.
